WHAT IS 'THE KEEP'?
This will be an adaptation of a horror novel of the same name by F Paul Wilson.
The book forms part of a series called The Adversary Cycle which focuses on a supposed ‘Secret History of The World’ which runs through various series by the same author.
PREVIOUS ADAPTATIONS
‘The Keep’ was already adapted into a film in 1983, Directed by Michael Mann.
Studio interference caused the film to release incomplete and thus the final edit was met with negative responses and failed at the box office.
Michael Mann has since disowned the film, so the complete film was never finished at a later date.
The film has been out of print for years and has never had an official DVD or Blu Ray release. Meaning that this film would be obscure and something most audiences will not have seen.
Has since gained a cult following.
